Restaurant Reservation Systems in Singapore: TableReady, SevenRooms, Chope, OpenTable, Oddle and inline

A booking fills a table. A connected restaurant ecosystem helps your team manage the visit and earn the next one.

What is a restaurant reservation system?

A restaurant reservation system lets guests book a date, time and party size while staff manage availability, tables and arrivals. Depending on the platform, it can also support a waitlist, guest profiles, deposits, reminders and marketing. A booking marketplace helps diners discover restaurants; reservation software helps the restaurant run its service. Some providers do both.

For a Singapore restaurant, the useful question is what happens after the booking: can the host recognise the guest, coordinate seating and hand over clearly to the service team? Can the business connect that visit with its POS, CRM and payment workflow? Those connections deserve as much attention as the booking page.

Our first recommendation is TableReady with the Rewardly ecosystem for merchants who want to plan reservations, POS, customer engagement and payments with EISOL. It is our preferred alternative for this operational goal, not a claim that it wins every feature comparison. SevenRooms, Chope, OpenTable, Oddle and inline each offer capabilities that may suit a different priority.

Editorial disclosure: TableReady is an EISOL product and EISOL implements Rewardly. This is a commercially informed comparison based on official product information reviewed on 23 September 2026, not an independent ranking or a hands-on test of every platform.

1. TableReady: our choice for a connected restaurant ecosystem

TableReady gives restaurants a branded direct-booking page and staff tools for reservations, availability, floor plans, table assignment and walk-ins. Guest records, private-dining events and service reports add context around the reservation. Multi-outlet administration helps a restaurant group organise access while keeping outlet-specific operating rules.

Its attraction is the wider EISOL offering. TableReady handles reservations; Rewardly CommerceOS provides POS and ordering; LoyaltyOS supports membership and rewards; PaymentOS brings supported payment workflows into the picture. A merchant can evaluate all four business needs with one implementation partner rather than coordinating the project alone.

Be precise about “one platform”. Here it means a coordinated TableReady and Rewardly ecosystem, not a promise that every function lives in one application or subscription. The documented TableReady connection synchronises Rewardly tables and customers after configuration. Automatic links between a booking, POS bill, payment, refund and loyalty balance need separate confirmation. TableReady guest records are outlet-scoped, not a shared group-wide CRM.

For a restaurant already using Rewardly, TableReady is a logical first shortlist. For a new outlet, it offers an opportunity to plan the booking desk and checkout together. The value is clearer responsibility for the rollout, practical staff workflows and room to develop customer engagement—not an unverified promise of more covers or lower fees.

2. SevenRooms: guest intelligence and hospitality integrations

SevenRooms combines reservations with detailed guest profiles, segmentation and marketing. Its official CRM material describes preferences, visit history and POS spending data, with a unified guest view across locations. This makes it a serious option for teams that use customer information actively in service and retention.

Buying consideration: integration is a strength, but compatibility is specific. Its setup documentation lists POS versions, licences and regional conditions. Ask which connections your Singapore outlet will actually receive and who maintains them. TableReady is an alternative to assess when the priority is planning reservations around a Rewardly deployment with EISOL.

3. Chope: restaurant discovery and booking demand

Chope combines a consumer dining channel with restaurant reservation, queue and table-management tools. Its appeal includes discovery: diners can find restaurants and book through a familiar channel. Restaurants subscribe to different services, so a listing alone does not establish the features included in a merchant package.

Buying consideration: measure the value of genuinely new diners against the full channel cost. Its Singapore FAQ announces that Chope-Dollars will stop being issued for bookings made from 15 October 2026, directing diners towards Grab Dine Out rewards. This is a rewards change, not a reservation shutdown. For a Chope alternative, evaluate TableReady for direct bookings while treating diner acquisition as a separate marketing decision.

4. OpenTable: booking reach and restaurant management

OpenTable’s Singapore plans combine its booking network with table management, guest records and POS integration. The published offering also includes deposits and card holds. Its Core and Pro plans distinguish direct reservations from diners acquired through OpenTable or its affiliate network.

Buying consideration: do not assume every reservation incurs a cover fee. The Singapore page states that direct website bookings are free of cover charges on Core and Pro; seated network diners attract cover fees, while no-shows and cancellations do not. Obtain a local quote and compare the complete plan. TableReady is worth assessing when your main goal is a direct booking operation alongside Rewardly rather than access to OpenTable’s diner network.

5. Oddle: reservations within a broader growth platform

Oddle Reserve supports website and Google bookings, table-management views, guest engagement and deposits or card guarantees. Its wider offering includes online ordering, loyalty, marketing and payment terminals. Oddle is therefore a broader competitor to an ecosystem proposition, not simply a booking widget.

Buying consideration: demonstrate the handover to your actual POS and how payments, refunds and customer records are handled. A broad product catalogue does not establish which connections are included in your package. TableReady with Rewardly offers a different starting point: planning the reservation and checkout operation with EISOL, then agreeing the customer-engagement and payment scope.

6. inline: reservation, queue and guest management

inline brings booking lists, table maps and guest information into a restaurant operations platform. Its official product pages describe configurable booking availability, automated SMS confirmations, online credit-card deposits and queue management. Guests can check their queue status in a browser without downloading an app. Guest history and preference notes help staff prepare for returning diners.

Buying consideration: ask for the Singapore package and demonstrate the complete service handover, including messaging costs, deposit refunds and the connection to your POS. Reservation deposits do not by themselves establish integrated restaurant checkout or loyalty. TableReady with Rewardly is an alternative to assess when your priority is planning reservations, POS, customer engagement and payments with EISOL as the implementation partner.

From table booking to a return visit

Imagine a neighbourhood restaurant in Tanjong Pagar. A guest books dinner through its own link. The host reviews the reservation and seating plan before the rush. The service team records the order at the POS, and checkout follows the restaurant’s chosen payment arrangement. With the agreed customer and loyalty setup, the restaurant can make the next visit more relevant.

This is an illustrative service journey, not a claim that every handover is automatic today. The demo should reveal where staff still confirm identities, enter information or resolve exceptions. Reducing those steps can improve service consistency; measure the result rather than assuming it.

What should a Singapore restaurant compare before switching?

  1. Run a real service scenario

Test a booking change, late arrival, walk-in party and table reassignment together. Include a private event if it affects your available capacity.

  2. Compare the full cost

Request software, setup, training, hardware, messaging, booking-channel and payment costs. Calculate busy and quiet months; a headline subscription does not reveal the total cost.

  3. Specify customer and transaction data

Agree which records sync, in which direction and how quickly. Test duplicate guests, changed contact details, a refund and a failed connection. Confirm consent controls, staff access and export arrangements.

  4. Protect the changeover

Plan future-booking imports, staff training and the replacement of public booking links. Confirm support hours and an incident procedure before switching a busy service to the new platform.

Track seated covers, no-show rate, staff handling time and repeat visits after rollout. If spend can be linked reliably to guests, assess revenue and repeat spending too. A larger guest database is useful only when its records are accurate and the team can act on them.

Restaurant reservation system FAQs

What is the best restaurant reservation system in Singapore?

The best fit depends on your operating model. EISOL recommends TableReady with Rewardly for merchants planning direct bookings alongside POS, CRM and payments. Compare SevenRooms for guest intelligence, Chope and OpenTable for booking-channel reach, Oddle for its broader ordering and marketing offering, and inline for reservation and queue coordination. Demonstrate your required workflow before choosing.

Is TableReady a standalone POS and payment processor?

TableReady is the reservation and front-of-house component. Rewardly provides the wider POS, loyalty and payment modules. EISOL can scope them as a connected ecosystem; module subscriptions, payment-provider arrangements and transaction-level connections must be confirmed in the proposal.

Can a reservation system replace a restaurant CRM?

A guest book can hold contact details and preferences, but a broader restaurant CRM may also need segmentation, purchase history, consent management and campaigns. Check which capabilities are included, whether data is shared across outlets and how POS spending reaches the customer record.

Does direct booking mean no software or payment fees?

No. A direct booking channel and a pricing model are separate things. Software subscriptions, onboarding, messaging and payment processing may still apply. Request an itemised Singapore quotation and compare the same booking volume, outlets and support scope.

Can I keep my existing POS when changing reservation software?

Often you can, but the available connection depends on the vendor, POS version and agreed scope. TableReady documents configured Rewardly table and customer synchronisation. Bring your current POS and payment setup to the demo; do not assume that every reservation system supports every checkout platform.
